“My practice is located in what I refer to as fictional
site-specific, namely the process of activating a real context through the use of fictional scenarios.
Through the adoption of various languages and tools, spanning from photography and videomaking
to sculpture and performative installation, I attempt at questioning the junction between reality and
simulation in today’s society.”

SILVIO SACCÀ (Rome, 1989)
He studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Roma and obtained
a Master in Photojournalism at the Scuola Romana di Fotografia
e Cinema.
Together with the collective WhenWeWhere, he opened an
artist-run space in the spaces of Città dell'Altra Economia in Testaccio (Rome) called PAVILION 4. As part of this project, he curated a series of independent exhibitions for two seasons.
Since 2012 he has been the creative director of a series
of fanzines, for which he collaborated with Gucci and NERO Editions.
