Untitled Association announces its participation in the 48th edition of Arte Fiera Bologna with the project Un altro scenario by Numero Cromatico.

 

Starting in 2022, as part of Artefiera, Numero Cromatico initiated the Somnium project, an artwork that engages the public in a collective experience about dream activity and its correlations with creative and introspective processes. 

 

Over the last few years the collective has gathered hundreds of dreams realized by the public, by distributing a device in which there is always a stimulus poem and some instructions to stimulate the memory of the dream upon awaking. Despite being all different, the collected dreams share some common characteristics. Fragments of these dreams have been exhibited in different forms and contexts.

 

For Arte Fiera 2025, a billboard campaign was launched in the city of Bologna, featuring phrases taken from the collected dreams – projective and evocative stimuli that engage the city in a reflection on the collective dimension of artistic experience.

The project has a plurality of outputs: the active engagement of the public through the distribution of devices aimed at inducing the memory of dream experiences; the collection of dreams in anthologies and textual archives; and the production of works and installations in the public space.
